This month our focus is on Boundaries + Beyond, and to kick off the month, we’re doing our Functional 5 - aka the Funky 5.So, in this episode we’re going to be touching on boundaries in regards to the personal, interpersonal, professional, societal and spiritual level."Boundaries" is a really fun topic as we are sliding into a super social time of the year! And being social and having deeply enjoying long days and nights is a total blast -- AND if we’re not mindful of healthy boundaries we are like to be totally burned out by fall. Denise leads Ayurvedic-based seasonal cleanses, and she can tell you that for the one offered in late summer/early fall almost all the participants are feeling the symptoms associated with burn out. As you probably know, we interview a special guest every month, and this month, I’m chatting with our very own Denise Pasquinelli. So, Denise is a Functional Nutrition Educator, Holistic Health Coach, Healthy Cooking Instructor, Plant-Based Chef, and Ayurveda enthusiast. Denise believes that food should be nourishing, and eating a celebrated act.Her practice is called S E E D Health + Wellness. S E E D is where she teaches, cooks, and offers personal and group support with improving digestion, shedding stubborn weight, supporting hormonal health and fertility, reducing pain and inflammation, and overcoming fatigue — all through food and lifestyle adjustments. Denise takes a whole systems approach to healing, connecting health of the body to the food we eat, the cycles in our body, relationships in our life, the health of the environment, and the health of our emotions. From an early age Denise was fascinated by the role emotional health has on the health of the physical body. The dynamic relationship between thoughts, feelings, and the manifestation (or eradication!) of disease, is illustrated via the chakra system in a beautiful way. Working with the chakras has had a profound impact on Denise's personal health, as well as the health of her clients. Viewing the food we eat, the activities that we engage in, and the events in our lives through the lens of the chakras creates an energetic, sensual, colorful shift to perception.Denise works with groups and individuals to create a beautiful and holistic map to personal healing. She also creates online programs, workshops, and pop-up educational dinners. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
